A clean affair – Volunteers from Loacker Hulladékhasznosító Kft. in Üllő

On October 3, 2025, the Municipality of Üllő once again organized its volunteer litter collection campaign called Tiszta ügy (Clean Cause), with the aim of cleaning up public areas in the town and promoting environmental awareness. Dozens of local residents, civil organizations, and corporate volunteers gathered for the event.
Five employees of Loacker Hulladékhasznosító Kft. (Loacker Waste Management Ltd.), including the managing director, also joined the program, setting an example of responsibility for our environment.

During the litter collection, participants filled dozens of bags with waste collected around the city: mainly plastic bottles, beverage cans, packaging materials, and household waste were found along roadsides and green areas. The campaign not only cleaned up the immediate environment, but also drew attention to the importance of responsible waste management and prevention.

For our company, sustainability and environmental protection are not only of paramount importance in our day-to-day operations and industrial waste management, but also at the level of community participation. We believe that environmental protection can only be truly effective if we all—residents, local governments, and companies—play a role in it together.

The active participation of Loacker volunteers clearly demonstrates that our employees are personally committed to environmental protection. The involvement of management further emphasizes that responsible waste management is not just a business goal, but a corporate value that has become part of our everyday lives.
