DOCUMENTED DESTRUCTION AND DECONTAMINATION

If the waste or discarded material generated contains confidential information, whether on paper or electronic media, it may be important to destroy these media, after which the data can no longer be recovered. In the case of paper, this is usually done by shredding, whereas in the case of electronic waste, it is done by hand-demolition and fragmentizing. The latter method is also used when it is necessary to prevent reject products from being returned to the market.
