In the framework of the Green Bridge Volunteer Expert Programme, we hosted two school groups at the Loacker Waste Recycling Ltd. site in District IX.

The children had the chance to take part in a really special “behind the scenes” tour, where our colleague Attila Kelemen introduced them to the world of waste recycling with a playful and exciting presentation.
They saw what happens to metals collected separately, why recycling is important and how they can contribute to a more sustainable future.
There were lots of questions, more answers, curious looks and lots of enthusiasm.

And that’s not the end of the story: the following week we visited schools twice to share why waste is important and how to be green!
